Role Overview: What You Will Do

As a Data Engineer, your work will be instrumental in supporting our data-driven mission. You will:

Build Data Pipelines: Develop robust pipelines to collect and transform data, powering machine learning models, analytics, and reporting.
Optimize High-Volume Production Environments: Ensure that data is standardized, reusable, and seamlessly integrated across architecture and production.
Utilize Advanced Tools: Work with popular tools like DynamoDb, SQS, S3, RedShift, Snowflake, and MySQL, often pushing these technologies to their limits to meet unique needs.
Collaborate with a Global Team: Engage with an international, multidisciplinary team, including data engineers, scientists, and analysts, to drive impactful results.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:

Experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering: At least three years in the big data sector.
Proficient Coding Skills: A minimum of three years of experience coding in Python or a similar language.
Strong SQL Skills: Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouses, external data sources, and AWS cloud services.
Pipeline and Architecture Optimization: Skilled in developing and fine-tuning data pipelines, architecture, and datasets.
Familiarity with Data Engineering Tools: Knowledge of ETL tools, orchestration tools, microservices, Kubernetes (K8), and AWS Lambdas.
End-to-End Project Ownership: Comfortable managing projects from concept through to design, coding, integration, and deployment.
Cloud Service Experience: Familiar with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field.
