Position Overview
The New Africa Impact Fund is looking for a Research and Business Advisory Assistant to support its diverse initiatives. This role is primarily remote, though occasional travel and in-person meetings may be required. Key Responsibilities
As a Research and Business Advisory Assistant, you will:
- Conduct research and prepare detailed reports.
- Perform investment appraisals to support business objectives.
- Contribute to the formulation of business and strategic strategies.
- Collect and perform basic analysis on relevant data.
- Schedule projects and assist with team management.
- Manage and update the organization’s social media presence.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance or Accounting), Development-Related Arts, Agriculture, or Agribusiness.
- Skills: Strong report-writing skills, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, quick learner, able to work independently, flexible with hours, and capable of managing multiple tasks without sacrificing quality.
- Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn new problem-solving techniques and adapt to various tasks as needed.
Remuneration
The role comes with the following benefits:
- Monthly Allowance: GHS 2,000.
- Data and Call Allowances: Coverage for communication needs.
- Transportation Allowance: Provided when physical presence is required.
- Additional Allowances or Commissions: Offered based on participation and contributions to projects.
This is a 6-month position, with the possibility to begin immediately.
